Recreational cannabis has been legal for almost seven years, and medical cannabis has been legal for about 24 years in Canada. How much do you know about cannabis?

In this inaugural session on cannabis and public policy, participants will gain insights into the diverse cannabis research initiatives underway at StFX. Faculty members from Sociology, Psychology, Business, and Nursing will present brief talks on cannabis-related research or other work. Each of their perspectives holds significance in shaping public policy creation and implementation. Participants are encouraged to bring cannabis-related questions for the Q&A session.

At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about what they would like to see in future sessions.
