Welcome to the first undergraduate public policy writing case competition. The case competition is a collaboration between the PGOV Program and the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government.
Working in teams of three, participants will prepare a mock policy submission—a Memorandum to Cabinet (MC)—on a topical policy issue. The specific MC question will be released directly to registered teams on 1 December 2022.
An orientation meeting will be held in Mulroney Hall 4032 on 6 October 2022. The process for the competition and the formatting for the MC will be explained at the orientation meeting.
Final submissions are due on Friday, 3 February 2023.
All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the top three teams will be awarded cash prizes, along with a place on the Public Policy Case Competition plaque in Mulroney Hall.
