
About the AUPCC
The Atlantic Undergraduate Policy Case Competition (AUPCC) is an inter-university case competition designed to get students from across Atlantic Canada interested and involved in the policymaking process. Participants will spend their time researching policy options, developing clear recommendations, devising actionable implementation strategies, and delivering persuasive arguments to judges.
The 2025 AUPCC is organized by a team of undergraduate students, together with the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government.
Monetary awards will be presented to those teams whose submissions best exemplify effective policies, with a specific focus on impact, feasibility, and originality. The award values are
- First Place – $1,200
- Second Place – $1,000
- Third Place – $700

Date and Location
The 2025 AUPCC will take place between November 7-8, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) in Mulroney Hall.
Format
Participants from each school will form teams of up to four people and draft a Memorandum to Cabinet addressing a contemporary policy issue. Teams will be scored based on the quality of their policy proposal and the persuasiveness of their presentation in front of a panel of judges.
The AUPCC is open to students of all disciplines and creativity is encouraged.
